With a HUGE MAHALO to our generous sponsors and donors, we are pleased to offer multiple scholarship opportunities to help songwriters with financial need to attend the 2026 Hawai’i Songwriting Festival.
Scholarships from Marmoset Music and PEN Music Group will cover the conference registration fee for several scholarship awards.
We also have multiple scholarship funds this year that help to cover hotel and transportation costs in addition to registration fees for selected eligible applicants - the Henry Kapono Foundation Scholarship, the Jerome Spence Memorial Scholarship, the Jason Mraz Foundation Scholarship, and the Richard Russell Songwriter Scholarship.
Scholarship applications are due at 11:59pm HST on July 15, 2026. Follow the submission instructions on the scholarship application form.
PLEASE NOTE: While preference is given to high school or college students and first-time HSF attendees, all applications will be considered.
