General Information About the Conference

The Hawai'i Songwriting Festival is a music conference for songwriters of all genres from Hawai'i, the mainland, and all over the world - young and old, beginning to expert, and everyone in between! 

Our participants come from all genres and levels of experience and travel here from all over the world.  No matter where you stand as a songwriter, there is room for every type of individual at the Hawai'i Songwriting Festival.  

Attendees range from those who are just beginning their career or hobby and are still learning the craft of songwriting to experienced songwriters that are looking for expert advice, guidance, connections, and opportunities that only the best in the business can provide. 

The genres of our attendees' music spans rock, pop, R&B, country, and urban to contemporary Hawaiian and everything in between.  We also have attendees who only write lyrics or only compose music.  Many collaborations have resulted from new friendships made at HSF!
