SCHEDULE AND EVENTS
for the 2022 Hawai'i Songwriting Festival
Panel and Seminar Descriptions
Every day at the conference
10:30AM - Noon on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Staff mentors lead small group workshops of 12-15 people where each attendee can share a song and receive feedback. You will be randomly assigned to a different workshop with a different mentor each day. Click here for the workshop map.
2:00-3:00PM on Thursday
2:30-3:30PM on Friday and Saturday
Each morning, attendees sign up on a first come, first served basis for 15 minute speed mentoring sessions that afternoon. Staff mentors are available to provide feedback, give industry/career advice, answer questions, and more.
**You must read the mentor bios ahead of time and know who you want to meet with before you sign up in the morning.**
Be punctual and respect your designated 15 minute time slot so all attendees are able to take advantage of this opportunity to meet one-on-one with our staff mentors. If you want feedback on your music, bring a recording on a device with a headphone jack. We ask that you do not play live during the speed mentoring sessions as it can be very distracting for those around you.
