Hawaii Songwriting Festival 2024 COVID Policy
After careful consideration and observing the successes and shortcomings of other conferences, we ask for your aloha and cooperation to help keep our mentors, attendees, organizers, and community safe.
Masking: Masking is no longer required, but in the spirit of aloha and common courtesy for your fellow songwriters, if you are sneezing, coughing or have a runny nose, please wear a face mask indoors - especially in Hau/Lehua and the other small meeting rooms. Please follow the lead of your mentors in workshops and especially speed mentoring. If they are masked, please wear yours as well.
Testing: We will have tests and masks on hand, please ask if you are not feeling well and need to test and/or mask up.
If you feel sick during the conference: There is an urgent care facility on site where you can receive care. We will work with you to help you participate as much as possible via Zoom. If you are staying at the Westin Hapuna, the hotel has procedures in place to help COVID-positive guests throughout their stay.
