Jason Mraz Foundation Scholarship
After joining the Hawai'i Songwriting Festival staff in 2017, Jason Mraz wanted to support songwriters who live all over Hawai'i but can not afford to attend the Hawai'i Songwriting Festival. Recognizing that the price of inter-island airfare and hotel accommodations is often enough to prevent local songwriters from being able to participate in this life-changing event that is so close to their home, he established this scholarship through the Jason Mraz Foundation. Preference is given to applicants of Native Hawaiian ancestry who demonstrate financial need and live in Hawai'i (excluding Big Island residents). If you wish to be considered for the Jason Mraz Foundation Scholarship, please indicate so and address the criteria above in your essay. |
